The next training session was held within the framework of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” global innovation program, implemented at the initiative of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
The session on the topic “Startup Building in Emerging Markets: Lessons from Africa's Startup Ecosystem and Opportunities for Global Entrepreneurs”, organized within the “Startup Building in Emerging Markets” module of the program, was held by Andriamirojoro Mino, founder of the “DELPHI Group”.
During the training, the participants were provided with detailed information about the development characteristics of the African startup ecosystem, factors affecting the formation of entrepreneurship in emerging markets, innovative business models and existing opportunities for global entrepreneurs. The session discussed building sustainable businesses in conditions of limited resources, developing solutions that meet market needs, and the success stories of startups operating in emerging markets. The trainer presented the characteristics of innovation ecosystems formed in African countries, shared his views on the challenges faced by startups operating in these markets, and the factors that lead to their success.
In addition, the session also focused on investment opportunities in emerging markets, establishing international partnerships, integration into global markets, and prospects for cooperation between different regions.
It should be noted that the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” program continues with the participation of experts from different countries of the world in order to contribute to the development of the local innovation ecosystem, improve the knowledge and skills of innovative entrepreneurs, expand their access to international markets, and strengthen their access to investment.
