The exhibition marking the final stage of the “Green and Digital Silk Road” international acceleration program, organized under the “Startup School 3” initiative by the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), has been successfully held.
More than 30 startups that successfully completed all stages of the program participated in the exhibition. In addition to Azerbaijani teams, finalists included participants from Pakistan and Turkey. The showcased projects reflected the program’s priority areas, such as green energy and digital solutions, while also spanning healthcare, agritech, artificial intelligence, tourism, chemical industry, education, and other sectors. The teams presented innovative solutions designed to address real-world challenges through modern technological platforms, specialized devices, software, digital tools, and diverse applications.
The projects were evaluated by an international jury comprising experts representing leading companies from Azerbaijan, the U.S., Malta, and Turkey. Evaluation criteria included innovation, level of technological application, market potential, team capability, and commercialization prospects. Based on the results, the seven most promising startups earned the right to present their projects to a wider audience during the next phase, the “Pitch Day”.
The exhibition also drew attention from a wide range of ecosystem representatives. Attendees included officials from various government agencies, university leaders and staff, representatives from the banking sector and private companies, as well as members of incubation and acceleration centers and venture funds. This provided startups with valuable opportunities for partnerships, investments, and knowledge exchange.
The “Startup School 3” initiative and the “Green and Digital Silk Road” acceleration program continue to make significant contributions to the development of the innovation ecosystem, strengthening interregional collaboration, and supporting new initiatives in the field of digital transformation.
