Local and global experiences in the field of intellectual property were presented in the "Startup School 4" program of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal
The next training session on the “Intellectual Property” module was held within the framework of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” global innovation program, initiated by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
The session was presented by Bilgin Yazlık, head of the Türkiye Cappadocia Technopark, an expert with extensive experience in the development of innovation and technology ecosystems. During the training, the role of intellectual property as not only a means of legal protection, but also an important element of innovation strategy and business development was discussed.
The session focused on the opportunities created by intellectual property in helping innovative products and technologies gain a competitive advantage in the market, the integration of intellectual assets into the business model, and the effective management of innovation processes. Participants learned about how intellectual property adds value to a company’s long-term development strategy and supports the sustainability of innovation activities.
The trainer shared his views on the role of intellectual property in innovation ecosystems, patent service organizations and their working principles, the commercial potential of technologies created within the framework of university-industry cooperation, and the development mechanisms of knowledge-based businesses based on the experiences of different countries.
During the session, participants discussed issues related to their projects and received expert opinions on the positioning of innovative ideas in the market, the establishment of strategic partnerships, and sustainable development opportunities. The training continued in an interactive discussion and question-and-answer format.
