The “Farm2Tour” hackathon was held through the partnership of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Agriculture, and organized by the Agrarian Development Volunteers Organization.
Within the framework of the project aimed at developing innovative solutions to existing challenges in the field of agritourism, startup teams developed and presented their projects to the jury over the course of 36 hours. At the end of the competition, the three most successful startups were announced as winners.
Isa Gasimov, Head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, participated in the evaluation of startup projects as a member of the jury and contributed to identifying the business potential of the ideas presented.
As part of the partnership, the winning teams are expected to be admitted as finalists to the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” program implemented by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal. By joining the program, participants will gain opportunities to collaborate with international mentors, investors, and innovation centers.
It should also be noted that, within the framework of the “Farm2Tour” project, CAERC employees supported participants as trainers and mentors in preparation for the hackathon competition.
