Online Training Sessions to Launch Within the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” Global Innovation Program

Online training sessions are set to begin within the framework of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” global innovation program, implemented by the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC). The sessions aim to strengthen startups’ integration into the global knowledge-sharing environment, enhance participants’ innovation and entrepreneurship skills, and expand opportunities for attracting investment and entering international markets.

The first training session will be delivered by Gonca Kara, a representative of Malta-based Deep Tech Foundry, and will focus on “Sustainable Economy: European Opportunities.” During the session, participants will gain insights into the European sustainable economy model, green transformation trends, and emerging opportunities for innovative businesses.

The training program will be conducted by a distinguished panel of experts representing leading academic and innovation institutions worldwide. The panel includes representatives from Stanford University, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), Ethiopian Public Service University, New Mansoura University (Egypt), OSTIM Technical University, the Cappadocia and Niğde Technoparks in Türkiye, the Silk Road High Tech Park Association (China), and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade (KP-BOIT, Pakistan).

In addition, experts representing leading innovation companies and ecosystem platforms from various countries will share their knowledge and experience with participants. These include Deep Tech Foundry (Malta), Delphi Group (Madagascar), The Brutally Honest Ecosystem (Finland), BeHumbo (Estonia), BuzzFactory (Russia), The Caucasus-Asia Center (India), MH Inspires (Australia), as well as representatives of the local innovation ecosystem.

The training sessions will provide participants with an opportunity to explore best practices from leading global innovation ecosystems. The program will cover a broad range of business and technology approaches, from the Silicon Valley model to Europe’s innovation and sustainability frameworks, China’s rapidly evolving technology ecosystem, Türkiye’s industry-technology integration experience, and emerging startup models across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

The sessions will address strategic topics such as systematic startup growth, commercialization and market deployment of innovations, effective intellectual property management, the application of AI-based solutions, investment attraction strategies, and mechanisms for entering international markets. Participants will also gain practical knowledge through real-world case studies on developing modern business models.

Following the training sessions, participants will receive individual mentoring support to prepare for the final stage of the program. The mentoring sessions will focus on refining startup projects, optimizing business models, and strengthening presentation skills.

The final stage of the program, Demo Day, will be held as part of TEI Forum 2026 (Trade, Export and Innovation). During this stage, participants will present their startup projects to international experts, investors, and ecosystem representatives. The presentations will be evaluated by a jury, and the most promising projects will gain access to global collaboration and investment opportunities.
