Within the framework of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” program, implemented by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, the next training session and informational seminar were organized at Sumgait State University.
The meeting, attended by the university’s academic staff and students interested in startup activities, commenced with presentations of startup projects. Discussions were conducted on the relationship between startup activities as a knowledge-based form of activity and the academic environment. The event also addressed the main challenges faced by startups and examined advanced global practices aimed at resolving these issues.
During the training, Associate Professor Isa Gasimov, Head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” platform, delivered a presentation explaining the Idea–Need–Skills (INS) mechanism for building effective business models. He also provided practical examples and recommendations for young entrepreneurs.
Subsequently, a comprehensive information session on the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” program was delivered, and participants’ questions were addressed. It was noted that registration for the global innovation program will remain open until May 15.
It should be noted that the program aims to support the development of innovative ideas, facilitate the integration of startups into the international ecosystem, and promote young entrepreneurship.
