A training session on a new module - “Responsible Artificial Intelligence” - was organized within the framework of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents, 500 Startups” global innovation program implemented by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. The session was presented by Nijat Mehdiyev, a representative of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).
The session, dedicated to the topic of “Responsible Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities, Risks, and Core Principles for Startups”, discussed the opportunities created by artificial intelligence technologies in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, as well as the risks and liability issues arising from the application of these technologies.
During the training, participants were informed about the opportunities created by artificial intelligence in product development, decision-making processes, improving customer experience, and increasing operational efficiency. In addition, the importance of considering issues such as data security, privacy and transparency when implementing AI-based solutions was emphasized.
The session explained the basic principles of the concept of responsible AI, and highlighted the importance of startups striking a balance between innovation and ethical responsibility.
During the session, active discussions were held with the participants, and views were exchanged on the application of AI technologies in the business and innovation ecosystem, the importance of ethical approaches and the development of responsible AI solutions. During the training, the participants gained both theoretical knowledge and had the opportunity to more closely analyze the opportunities and risks created by AI through real examples.
It should be noted that the sessions held within the framework of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents, 500 Startups” program allow participants to acquire advanced knowledge in the fields of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship, increase access to investment, communicate directly with global experts and benefit from international experience.
