A training dedicated to establishing deep technology (Deep Tech) startups was held within the “Startup School 4” program of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal
The next training session took place within the framework of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” global innovation program, initiated by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
In the next session, participants were introduced to the establishment and development strategies of deep technology-based startups. The training was presented by Mohammadali Farjoo, head of the Australian partner of the program, “MH Inspires PTY LTD”. The session was dedicated to the topic “How not to Set up a Deep Tech Startup! Developing a Deep Tech Entrepreneurship Strategy” and was held in an interactive workshop format.
The session discussed the distinguishing features of deep technology-based startups from other startups, the main challenges faced by entrepreneurs operating in this field, and the formation of successful development strategies.
The trainer talked about the most common mistakes made in the process of commercializing scientific research and technological innovations, and shared with the participants important approaches for the market launch and long-term development of deep technology projects.
During the training, the participants addressed their questions to the expert regarding their projects, and received practical recommendations on entrepreneurship in the field of deep technology, commercialization strategies, and market access opportunities.
It should be noted that the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” program is implemented with the participation of experts from more than 10 countries around the world. Within the framework of the program, startups are provided with practical knowledge and international experience in the areas of innovation, business development, access to investment, and integration into global markets.
