Cooperation is Being Established Between the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” Portal of CAERC and Kazakhstan’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem
The activities of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment promotion were presented in Kazakhstan.
Isa Gasimov, Head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal of CAERC, held a series of business meetings with several organizations in Kazakhstan, including the KIT International Entrepreneurs Association, the ATAMEKEN National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and Astana Hub.
During the meetings, the activities of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal and the role of the “Startup School” programs in fostering cooperation among global innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems, promoting Azerbaijan’s investment attractiveness, and strengthening business relations across the Turkic World were highlighted.
At a meeting with Dauren Bimov, Head of the KIT International Entrepreneurs Association and a well-known businessman, discussions focused on expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the fields of business and startup ecosystems, as well as improving institutional mechanisms to support entrepreneurship. Dauren Bimov will participate as a speaker at the TEI Forum 2026 (Trade, Export and Innovation Forum), which will be held in Baku on October 30–31, 2026, with the partnership of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal. The Demo Day event of the “Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups” global innovation program will also be organized within the framework of the forum.
As part of the visit, a meeting was also held with Alin Kanat Toleibekovich, Director of the ATAMEKEN National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, one of Kazakhstan’s largest business organizations. The discussions focused on entrepreneurship development, support for the business environment, more effective utilization of the economic potential of the Turkic World, and future cooperation opportunities. Gulnura Serikovna Sheripova, Director of the Association of Turkish Businessmen operating in Astana, also participated in the meeting. The parties assessed opportunities for further development of business relations.
