"Enterprise Azerbaijan" and "Invest in Türkiye" discussed cooperation opportunities at "GITEX AI Türkiye"
An online meeting was held between the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal operating under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) and representatives of the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Turkey (Invest in Türkiye).
During the meeting, the “GITEX AI Türkiye” international technology event to be held at the Istanbul Expo Center on September 9-10, 2026, the opportunities offered by the event, and potential cooperation issues in representing the Azerbaijani innovation ecosystem on this platform were discussed.
It was noted that “GITEX AI Türkiye” will be organized for the first time in Turkey and will bring together leading technology companies, startups, and leading experts in the field operating in the fields of artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, fintech, and other new technologies. The event is intended to create ample opportunities for meetings of startups, investors, technology companies, representatives of the public and private sectors, establishing new business relationships, and forming investment partnerships.
The meeting exchanged views on the participation of Azerbaijani startups in GITEX AI Türkiye, connecting innovative companies with international investors and partners, promoting the Azerbaijani technology ecosystem in Turkey and global markets, as well as the prospects for expanding cooperation between the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems of the two countries.
The parties emphasized the importance of further developing the cooperation that has been formed between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the fields of innovation, startups and entrepreneurship in recent years through international platforms such as GITEX AI Türkiye.
During the meeting, the importance of continuing cooperation in promoting the potential of the Azerbaijani innovation ecosystem on international platforms by Enterprise Azerbaijan, expanding access to global markets for local startups and strengthening relations with investors was noted.
