A meeting was held to discuss cooperation perspectives between the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms (CAERC), and Spain’s global technology school “Ironhack.”
The meeting was attended by Isa Gasimov, the head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, project manager Aydan Huseynzade, founder of “Coders Azerbaijan” Seymur Hamidov, executive director Riyad Agazade, and Juanjose Moreno, the head of the B2B department at “Ironhack.”
The main purpose of the meeting was to strengthen international partnerships for the development of Azerbaijan’s innovation ecosystem, improve the technology-oriented skills of startups, and transfer global experience in digital transformation to the country.
Representatives of CAERC provided information about the activities of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, its role in the startup ecosystem, and its major projects. In particular, they presented the scale of the “Startup School 3 - Green and Digital Silk Road” international acceleration program, the participating countries, the training and mentoring stages, and the innovative projects showcased in the final.
The “Ironhack” representative spoke about the organization’s global training models in programming, cybersecurity, data analytics, and UX/UI design, its “bootcamp” programs, and opportunities for entering the international job market.
Both sides discussed possibilities for expanding connections with local and global innovation ecosystems, supporting Azerbaijani startups in accessing global markets, and implementing joint projects. At the end of the meeting, an initial agreement on mutual cooperation was reached.
