“Enterprise Azerbaijan” discusses cooperation opportunities with South Korean biotechnology company

Representatives of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, held a meeting with the innovative South Korean biotechnology company “Jan153Biotech”.

The meeting was attended by Isa Gasimov, Head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, and Project Manager Aydan Huseynzadeh, as well as Dr. Jincheol Kim, Founder of “Jan153Biotech”, and Manager Minwoo Joo.

During the meeting, Isa Gasimov presented detailed information about the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” platform, noting that the portal serves as one of the key digital platforms of Azerbaijan’s innovation ecosystem, supporting the integration of startups, technology companies, and international innovation stakeholders into the national ecosystem. The platform also provides startups with mentorship, acceleration opportunities, participation in international programs, access to investors, and connections to global innovation networks.

In addition, the initiatives implemented by “Enterprise Azerbaijan” to promote sustainable development, green technologies, and innovation-driven solutions were highlighted, particularly the international acceleration program “Green and Digital Silk Road” carried out within the framework of the “Startup School 3” project.

During the discussions, “Jan153Biotech” presented comprehensive information about its environmentally friendly, bio-based agricultural products, especially biopesticides and innovative solutions that support plant health. The company’s contributions to the development of sustainable agriculture, reduction of chemical pesticide use, and increased productivity were emphasized.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was recommended to arrange meetings with relevant local companies operating in the sector for the presentation of the products offered by “Jan153Biotech”.
